COVID 19 NOTIFICATION
FOR POLICIES PURCHASED ON OR AFTER MARCH 11
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Coronavirus (COVID-19) a pandemic. If your Event is cancelled because of COVID-19 there is no coverage under this policy.
If you contract COVID-19 prior to or during an Event you may be covered for Event Cancellation or Event Interruption if you have a confirmed and documented diagnosis that prevents you from attending the Event, or results in medically imposed restrictions certified by a Physician that prevents your completion of the Event.
Please thoroughly read the Description of Coverage for your insurance policy, and note that Travel Guard offers a free-look period, which means you can cancel this insurance policy by giving us written notice within 10 days from the Effective Date of your insurance policy to receive a refund of the premium paid (provided that the Event has not started and you have not filed a claim). If you have already purchased an insurance policy, the facts and circumstances surrounding your Event and the terms and conditions of your policy will determine the extent of coverage for COVID-19 related claims.
